Beauty: 2nd Anniversary Beauty Day

This week we celebrated our 2nd anniversary! 

To celebrate we took a well deserved day off at the Cradle Health Spa in Magaliesberg. 

Anyone living in Gauteng and looking for a day of pampering that's away from home but doesn't take a day to drive there, Magaliesberg is the place for you. It's about an hour out of pretoria and then your in another province relaxing the day away.

This Spa is honestly one of the nicest wellness spas I've been to and the massages were the best I've gotten...ever!

It was a fantastic day of beauty and relaxation.

We booked a great package deal that included a full body massage for 1 hour, a 1 hour facial, access to spa facilities, breakfast and lunch, and delicious cocktails.

The rest of the day was spent in the sun or jacuzzi sipping away at cocktails.

The only trick with a day spa is that you're so relaxed that you don't want to drive home again, luckily we had dinner and dessert planned with our beautiful boy and a celebration with the family.

My Home: Open Closet & Dressing Room

Our house has an open studio/loft feel with no built in cupboards or dressers.

We decided to keep the open plan theme throughout the house and not install any fixed or built in fixtures so we opted for an open closet and dressing area. 

The cupboards are vintage pieces from my old design studio which has been incorporated into the room as the space we have is smaller now.

They are being used for all our unmentionables (hehe) and things you really don't need to have on display.

Everything else has been displayed on open racks and shoe shelves and an open beauty and dressing area.

The room and the open dressing areas and cupboards are great as they allow both my husband and I to share as much of the room as we need- all we do is add more shelves!

It also gives us space to do things in different areas so no one 'hogs the bathroom' or dressing areas as there are so many areas for dressing in the room.

Manicure Monday: 2nd Anniversary

I celebrated my 2nd anniversary on Monday, 9th March 2015, with the love of my life.

We headed back to Magaliesberg where we had our honeymoon to do some much needed pampering.

Since this glorious day coincided with #ManicureMonday it seemed only fitting that I pick something wedding themed!

I love this colour from Chic Nails called Just Married, its a really pretty blue-green-cremesoda colour thats perfect for a wedding theme!

Bright and Shiny

Last Saturday I attended the Nu Skin Kickoff Event for South Africa at the Vodadome at Vodaworld. It was a great opportunity to meet different teams, meet the overseas heads, hear about what's happening in Nu Skin globally, and get excited for the 2016 Miami Success trip at the cocktail after party!

For the event, I wore my turmeric yellow dress, smokey eye, dark liquorice black nails, and my perfume, Vengeance, from my latest Rubybox!
