What's in my Rubybox: August

17.9.14 /

Rubybox is one of my favourite presents that I've ever given myself. The concept is so great- you pay a monthly subscription and each month you get a couple of goodies to test as samples before deciding to purchase, or some months you even get the full product to spoil yourself with.
Rubybox also has their own line of products called Rubybox Beauty in addition to the tons of brands that they supply.
Another cool product is their Manbox so there's great products and treats for him and her!

How it works:
Choose a subscription that suits you and every month they'll deliver to your door. I have the month-to-month payment subscription of R169 p/m. But, if you're keen, you can also pay 6 or 12 months upfront with some great savings and discounts for doing so.
They also have a Build Your Own Box option where you pay R199 and get to pick your 5 products from a select few to the value of up to R350.

Beauty Savings:
No matter which package you choose, you save every month as the general goodie boxes are worth +/- R250

What's in the box?
This months box really felt like I had selected the Build Your Own Box option as I was in need of every product I got surprised with which was a real treat! Rubybox, you read my mind!
All the products this month were also full size so you know you scored.

Here's my take on this month's products:

Dove Invisible Dry Deo- R25
I love the Dove aerosol products. It's been my favourite pick for years now. It keeps me dry all day, there's no product build up or flaky residue, its sensitive under the arms, and moisturises the skin.
Dove is also the only product I've tried where it doesn't leave white deo marks on all of your clothes after getting dressed. It's not always 100% perfect but they've really gotten it right to help prevent this from happening.
My Dove bottle just finished when the postman delivered this one. Thank you Rubybox!

Botanical Collection Tropical Hand & Nail Cream- R29, 95
I'll never say no to another hand cream. I try and leave them in ever room to make sure my hands stay moisturised.
This cream is actually a really nice one. Its not very creamy or oily which is great as it doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your hands that never absorbs and its packed with Vitamins to boost your skin.
I'm a big fan of floral scents and this one's got Spring all over it. It's a really nice, soft scent that smells great and doesn't overpower whatever fragrance you may be wearing.

Rubybox Beauty Fresh In A Flash Brush Cleaner- R69, 95
I must admit, I've never actually bought a brush cleaner before. It was always something I knew I needed to get, but I never actually got around to it. I always just cleaned them the old school way isn't the most hygienic way of taking care of your brushes and can damage the bristles. This one has a great formula that removes daily makeup effortlessly and my brushes dried quickly and were left feeling really soft and smooth.

Rubybox Beauty Super Seamless Foundation Brush- R149, 99
My Foundation brush is another beauty product of mine that had just reached its expiry and was in need of being replaced. Yay! The brush is super and has a smooth application.
Brushes are also so pricy, so getting this one on such a great saving made me a very happy Rubie!
