What's in my Rubybox: September

7.10.14 /

My September Rubybox was filled with pamper treats and my new obsession- colour liner!
I've had a chance to test everything out for a few days and here's what I have to say.

Skin Perfect Toner from Nutriwomen- R95, 200ml
I'm always a bit sketchy about toners as many can be harsh on ones face. For the most part I have combination skin, but lately I've been battling some seriously dry patches and spots so I've had to take extra care to not make the situation worse and stay moisturised.
I usually don't have good results with toners so I'll opt for something more along the lines of a moisturising wipe with toners and then moisturise after again to not dry out my skin too much.
I've been using this toner for about 2 week now and so far so good.
I'm interested to see how things go from here but there seems to be a good philosophy about the brand and a full range of skincare products, anti-ageing, weight loss, digestive health, and vitamins and fitness packs so its full circle well being for women.
You can get them online on Amazon or at Dischem- yay! I'm going to go check it out and see if I can add a cleanser and moisturiser and give the brand a proper test. Fingers crossed!

Pepper Tree Bubble Bath- R29
If you are like me and like to soak in a bath with bubbles and candles and pamper yourself till your finger tips are wrinkly, you'll never say no to a new bubble bath. If I want to really relax, I prefer a bubble bath that has a rich lather and moisturisers so I often use my body wash or shower gel to create some bubbles.  This one's a bit thin and I find you need quite a bit to get it going.
But like I said, its bubble bath, who doesn't love bubble bath!

Africology Tissue Oil- R230, 50ml
I love using tissue oil the same way I love coconut oil. It's really the only things that can tackle dry skin. The extra bonus of using a tissue oil is that it also assists with stretch marks and scaring.
An old favourite of mine is Bio Oil. This one from Africology is great although a little on the pricy side considering I could spend R80 for 200ml of Bio Oil and use it daily over my whole body without breaking my budget! I've been using the Africology oil with my moisturiser on my face and my dry patches are gone so if you're not a babe on a budget then go for it.
Africology also has a range of spa and skincare products and Spa facilities situated in 5 star hotels which look divine. I think if you want to spoil yourself and indulge a bit then Africology is a good way to go.

Ralo Chubby Eyeliner Pencils- R29.50
I did a blog post recently with my newly discovered makeup favourite- colour eyeliners! I'm definitely going to search for a few more to add to my makeup collection. They are so versatile and easy to use and Ralo has some awesome metallic colours at great prices.
This one's pretty cool and I'm quite sweet on the electric green colour.
Check my post out for the makeup look!

Till the next,
M
