I'm Back!

It's been a while since I last did a post- in fact I didn't even get around to the Happy New Year wishes! It's been a crazy and fun filled holiday with ample opportunity to share and post except for that tiny detail...no internet connection!

When I say life on a farm is an easy adjustment from suburban living, trust me it is! Especially when you're only just down the road from where you used to live but you can enjoy all the beauties of farm life. The one thing I do miss- is a fast and readily available internet connection!

Hopefully now things are back on and I'm ready to go again for another year of fashion and beauty insights, reviews, and all my favourite lifestyle titbits!

Here's what I've been up to for the past few weeks...

For the most part it's been renovation, renovation, renovation since November- It was a tough challenge but we made our deadline and we were in by Christmas eve!

Since then, we've been enjoying family feasts in our new home and surroundings, had our first Serbian Christmas celebration, met all the farm animals and settled into our new home quite nicely!

As for beauty, I managed to squeeze some of that in too...you can never be too busy for beauty!

I got these two great Rubybox deliveries over December and January. 

I loved the Natural Lab face cream which has tint. It's a really creamy, non oily tinted moisturiser and quickly becoming one of my favourites.

The smooch stick is also a nice lip pencils, although I'm more into matte lippies lately. I'll keep this on hand when I'm in the mood for a nice moisture filled red lip.

My favourite product was the nail polish from Rubybox. I absolutely love this lavender shade! Its become my favourite summer polish!

I paired it with another nail favourite- the Mavala Mavadry quick dry top coat. Supper fast drying and it has a great shine. Everything you want in a top coat!

This is one of my favourite posts so far from January because I've fallen completely in love with hats. I picked this one up at a market for under R150 but there are so many more styles and looks I want to get my hands one. Obsession time!
